The driving force behind Make-Up Your Mind, Aldytha has worked as a make-up artist and hairstylist for the past 28 years. During this time she has worked in every sphere of the industry earning herself an award winning reputation nationwide and abroad where she annually travels to host make-up masterclasses.
Aldytha’s in-ate gift to transform and truly see a face visualised in its finest form, is her secret weapon, be it the face of a supermodel or a bride to be… each a crafted masterpiece once Aldytha has wielded her brushes and paints.
An award winning make-up artist, Aldytha has been commissioned as Head Make-Up Artist on prestigious events such as Miss World, Miss South Africa, Mrs Universe and X-Factor SA. She has worked on numerous designer fashion weeks, International films, Beauty Pageants and travelled abroad on invite as Educator for Kryolan Cosmetics. Her career has expanded into every sphere of the industry including GHD road shows, TV productions, Fashion Shoots as well as having her work grace the covers of several major bridal magazines and having numerous advertising and fashion editorials featured in all major fashion magazines.
Aldytha has taken her skill set and expanded her passion for all things beauty into the retail sector in the form of being the owner of 5 Kryolan KZN retail stores and most recently launched her exclusive cosmeceutical skincare range – SKIN by Aldytha. She is passionate about sharing her skill and inspiring the generation of make-up artist to follow and regularly opens her studio to train in her Personal Master Make-up Class.
Aldytha works from her Durban based studio and can be booked for your special occasion, wedding, shoot, make-up lesson or corporate function, locally, nationally or abroad.
